Loving Meals 
Loving Meals is a ministry that is designed to give physical support through meals to those that are experiencing difficult times due to surgery, delivery of baby, medical treatments of various kinds, etc. The Loving Meals volunteers are folks that want to be the hands and feet of Christ to the Body of Christ.
Meals are delivered to the home in disposable containers and no expectation of a visit from the person that delivers the meal. Volunteers simply deliver the meal and leave.
If you find yourself in need of meals due to difficulties, please contact Valorie Deel at 678-336-3231 or . A schedule will be discussed and agreed on so you can be ministered to in Christ’s love.
WANT TO BE A LOVING MEALS VOLUNTEER?
Loving Meals volunteers prepare and deliver food to the homes of those that are being ministered to.
Here’s how it works:
As needs arise, Loving Meals volunteers are on an e-mail list that is given notice of the need (the family’s name is not given out at this time) and dates. Volunteers reply to the e-mail giving a date they would be able to provide a meal. The date is confirmed (to avoid multiple meals delivered on one night) and can then be placed on your calendar. The family or individual’s information and driving directions are provided as well along with any dietary restrictions. The volunteer then prepares and delivers the meal on the day that has been assigned. A visit with the receiving family or individual is not required and is, in fact, discouraged. This is an easy way to involve your children in ministry teaching them to show the love of Christ through various ways. If you have the gift of hospitality or enjoy cooking, this is an outlet for sharing these gifts!
