Mount Pisgah Foundation
When and why the Foundation was established
The Mount Pisgah Foundation was established in 2009 for the purpose of inviting, equipping and deploying donors to fulfill God’s calling on their lives through gift planning.

The Mount Pisgah Foundation honors the dedicated group of members who have chosen to include Mount Pisgah ministry partners in their estate or gift planning, regardless of the amount or nature of the gift.

The Foundation allows members to provide future support for a variety of ministries at Mount Pisgah, such as:

    • Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church
    • Mount Pisgah Christian School
    • The Summit Counseling Center
    • A Beacon of Hope
    • Education & Scholarships
    • Capital Improvements
    • Outreach & Missions

The work of God’s Kingdom cannot be funded solely by people writing a check.
The untapped wealth of our other assets needs to be addressed...
- Anonyomous Giver

How gift planning benefits you
Gift Planning is generosity for the future. It is about planning well, giving wisely and receiving benefits and blessings in the process.

Consider these exceptional advantages:
    • Maximizing Kingdom investment impact
    • Tax reduction and savings
    • Increased income and effective rate of return
    • Tithing your estate is an inspiring witness
Innovative ways to support your cause

Innovative gifts usually provide you with a far greater tax deduction than if you had sold the asset first and then donated the proceeds to charity. The Foundation can accept most any type of asset, including:

Real estate - Land, houses, or other properties

Business interests - Ownership in closely-held businesses, Limited Partnerships, Limited Liability Companies, or Sub-chapter S corporations

Restricted securities - Publicly traded securities that may have sale restrictions

Loan notes - Money owed to you through loan notes

Estate gifts - Proceeds from wills, trusts, or life insurance policies

Retirement plans - 401Ks, IRAs, or pension plans

Life insurance - Term, whole, universal, or variable

Personal property - Royalties, copyrights, artwork, or precious metals
