Ways to Give
But just as you excel in everything— in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us— see that you also excel in this grace of giving.
- Matthew 6:33
Donations to Mount Pisgah UMC are used to sustain and expand our mission to recruit, train, equip and deploy disciples of Jesus Christ.
- All gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
- Gift acknowledgements will be mailed to donors monthly.
- The annual operating budget is prepared in consultation with all ministry areas. The Finance Committee then makes the formal recommendation of the budget for missions and outreach, education and discipleship, worship and music, buildings and grounds and for other operating expenses and salaries to the Church Charge Conference for their approval.
- Live the Vision is a three-year capital campaign (November 2007 – November 2010) that allows Mount Pisgah to accomplish goals outside the general operating budget. The Live the Vision campaign provides funding for a new student ministry building, global missions, and local compassion ministries, with the balance above these commitments directed to mortgage reduction.
- Throughout the year, Mount Pisgah has additional giving opportunities which are not part of the annual operating budget. Among these are Beacon of Hope Ministry, Summit Counseling Center, and various mission and outreach ministries.
- Memorial, honorariums and other special gifts may be made in tribute or as an indication of gratitude for a blessing received. Gifts may be designated or non-designated. Contact Darlene Walls in the Finance Office at 678-336-3116.

PLANNED GIVING: Mount Pisgah and its non-profit partners recently established the Mount Pisgah Foundation, a non-profit charitable foundation, through the National Christian Foundation. Among other services this organization provides a convenient vehicle for non-liquid assets to now be gifted through the Mount Pisgah Foundation as a tax deductable donation.
